About the Role

Fraud Risk Officer is responsible for identifying, assessing, and managing fraud risks within an organization. Their primary role is to ensure that the organization has adequate controls and processes in place to prevent and detect fraud

Work Responsibilities

  • Work closely with various functions in the Organization to identify and assess fraud risks across the organization
  • Develop and monitor performance of fraud risk parameters to prevent and detect fraud
  • Propose risk indicators for monitoring and alerts on products and processes.
  • Design and perform tests of control to ensure that Fraud Risk policies are performed
  • Perform analysis and research to identify the current fraud trends and synthesize actionable plans
  • Hands on support on fraud risk related projects
  • Work with cross functions to prepare documents relevant to regulatory and audit requirements

Job Requirements

  • A degree in business, science, information technology or related fields
  • Has a strong sense in identifying what can go wrong. High interest in technology is preferred
  • Collaborative attitude, ownership of risk
  • Can demonstrate strong communication skills
  • At least 5 years working experience, with a fair portion spent on risk-related functions. Preferred when you have both financial industry and technology backgrounds
