Superbank Joins Hands with TPI to Support Productivity and Welfare of Thousands of Grab Driver-Partners

  • This loan aims to increase TPI's car inventory, which will benefit thousands of GrabCar’s driver-partners

Jakarta, 18 April 2023 - PT Super Bank Indonesia (Superbank) today announced an investment loan partnership with PT Teknologi Pengangkutan Indonesia (TPI), a vehicle rental company and partner of Grab Indonesia. The partnership strengthens Superbank’s commitment to support the increase of productivity and welfare of Indonesians, especially the underbanked [1] segment, by expanding access to simple and responsible financing. TPI will use the investment loan from Superbank to increase its car inventory, which will benefit thousands of GrabCar driver-partners.

Currently, Grab has millions of driver partners across hundreds of cities in Indonesia, and thousands of them use the car rental facility from TPI. The loan investment from Superbank will be used by TPI to purchase over 1,000 car units to be rented out to GrabCar’s driver-partners.
